It's my last class in this term of British Council.

Nowadays I'm learning English in British Council (of course that's in Seoul) and this term is going to end today's evening.
It was very good time to arrange my bad english skills and the teacher was so cool, as even I didn't know of passed time when i was in the class. Thus I'd like to give a gift to him as a meaning of thanks but I have no idea what kinda gifts he likes.

If you were him, what would make you pleased? He is a british guy, looks about 35 years old, and not able to speak Korean at all.

What is the meaning of British Counsil? Does it mean British Congress?
For the English teacher, how about the Cherry Keyboard with blue switches.

I think keyboards are too heavy for this situation. I need just simple, impressive, and not expensive gift (not only in Keyboards) and to hear opinions of foreigners especially in western countires. That's why I wrote this question right here. Thanks :)

British Council is this : http://www.britishcouncil.org/kr/korea

When I studied at WSI, I gave my favorite teacher a small korea traditional jewel case as a gift.
And it made him really happy.

I would also recommend getting him something (traditional) Korean. After all he will also leave Korea again at some point and this way he will have something to always remind him of the time spent there. I think a gift like that is much better than something entirely materialistic like a keyboard.

Btw, your English is very good!

Thanks a lot, everybody.

I've given him a good and cheap medicine like this :

It's "Yong-Gak-San", a kind of powder to have whenever you feel unpleasanty or phlegm in your throat. Pretty cool and nobody doesn't know it here, but of course western people don't know of it at all. Thus I had described it to him about its good aspects and he was very satisfied with and surprised by that. He's gone back to U.K and.. maybe will not come here again. I hope that he can remember Korea via my gift.

Thank you again. Have a good time.
